The fanbase for example isn't all that great. There is little to none innovation in new CoD games. People think the multiplayer is unbalanced/unfair, see tubers for example.
if you think tubes are op in MW3 then you are a massive fag. tubes rarely one-shot kill now. and innovation is coming to MW3 in the form of rewards for prestige (e.g keeping 1 gun). much more balanced perks. the only thing that makes it unbalanced is they give you the best guns right off the bat.
Surely that make it mre balanced i.e. n00bs don't get owned because they have terrible guns compared to some guy who is lvl 70 whoring. The fanbase isn't all that great? Serious bro? You jump in to play a game and have fun with friends, the majority of people that play the game are fucking hilarious. No innovation... if you had a game that sold tens of milliom UNNBALANCED?!?!?!?!? Only if you fail miserably, it is a game where skill wins out over tactics.
what i meant earlier was that there is no real reason to spend time in the game if you already have the best guns right off the bat. and noobs getting owned just because they have terrible guns. noobs get owned in battlefield all the time and nobody gives a shit. IF will probably add a bullshit perk that gives you exp for dying. if your not prepared to spend time in the game to unlock the better equipment why the fuck did you buy the game in the first place?
There's these people. They are called casual gamers. They don't have the time to unlock all the equipment. They pay the same amount of money as 'hardcore gamers who are prepared to spend time to unlock the better equipment'. There's also a majority of them. Which is why developers design games for them. Because let's face it. Everybody loves money.
i am a "casual gamer". i don't no-life the game like a hardcore player. i only spend 3 hours per day, tops, on any game. but because i don't play it as much i would only prestige once or twice because i wanted to keep the guns that took me so long to get. it is inevitable to not get to top level sooner or later since you get a match bonus when you stay in the game. i have several game designs in the works for casual gamers. because they are the ones who like to experiment with their gaming.
Would a casual gamer REALLY like to experiment with their gaming? Let's put it differently, Would a starting gamer likely buy an 'experiment game' OR something which sells a truckload of copies? (like CoD)
I just don't like the gameplay, I'm quite good at the call of duty games but i just found it boring and repettative with little challenge, just mindless running around pre set rutes, geting nukes was easy in MW2 and in black ops it was to easy to predict what the other people were up too. Ofc there are better players than me and it wasn't like i was top of the scoreboard all the time, but it still din't have that element of challenge.
well i don't care if you don't like it. that's your choice. i just hate people that try to push that the whole game sucks just because they don't like it. it's ok to not like things, just don't be a dick about it.
The question is very easy to answer. You can get anyone to answer it with your typical answers, and you have got those answers. But why do I hate it? I hate that Activision is leeching off of something that could be interesting for the sake of profits. They have been quoted in saying that their goal is to create the maximum amount of profits off of a game franchise that is designed to last ten years (no source of course, but it's pretty easy to buy). And that, ladies and gentlemen, is what they are doing, and it's what they've done in the past. Remember Guitar Hero? That was them, and it didn't even last as long as they hoped. And that is the future for the Call of Duty franchise as I see it, and I look forward to the moment all the little die hard and archetypal COD fans take a good, long look at what they've become, and hate it.
this thread was beautiful  the first half just built up from one word to a full-blown STFU MY WAEH IS BETTAR arguement and then I got bored.
