Think of it this way, back since the beggining of time tons of children would die before even hitting 5. Then there was plauge after plauge, one disease after another, in Africa it's like getting maleria is a pastime.

Disease and famine have claimed much more lives than war because diease and famine are constant.

    Maybe because he's racist, lol.

You can get malaria anywhere in the tropics, not only in Africa, here in Brazil a lot of people still die today because of malaria.

Hmm well anytime before Guns became a force on the battle, so before Napoleon and the world wars, the Medieval kingdoms had some of the most epic battles but in terms of raw campaigns and badass i love the ancient world.

    So either Medieval or Ancient.

Ancient Era and Medieval because you actually had to use tactics to win battles. Firearms destroyed tactical fighting to me.

I'm not even sure anymore. I am beginning to be more and more interested in the sciences, instead of military history.

I think i posted here already saying That I loved Pre-gunpowder warfare, Where tactics and skill won battles rather then how many guns you can bring to a fight, or how fast you can reload them.

What? How did gunpowder destroy tactical fighting? Ever heard of Napoleon, Suvorov, or in more modern times, Patton?

You mean like Napoleon and Romel? Most of the Medieval Age was two armies charing into eachother, you know.

Uhhh...... They just fought in a line battle basically. Not interesting at all! You really call that tactics by reloading your gun. That is why I hate Empire and Napoleon Total War.

I still like the Medieval warfare because the entire thing of chopping your enemy to pieces while standing side by side with your brothern as your horse anchors send thousands of hell fire missiles raining down on the opposing forces just sounds so awesome.

I wish i had fought in 1066 and helped the vikings win.
