    How so? Larger businesses have larger budgets and almost universally hire more laborers. You can walk into a mom and pop shop and there will be someone at the register, and maybe someone on the sales floor. Walk into a Lowe's and you're greeted, have 2-3 associates in every section, and even staff available to help you load your vehicle

    It's less about job creation and more about the local business investing in local capital and keeping the money in the local circulation.

    All businesses pay local taxes, it's not like small businesses are investing in other local entities or anything. Business stimulate local economies by giving people jobs. These employed people then have the money to buy things locally and voilla, that's how that works.
