    US hawks have been stepping up the rhetoric against the Iranians (Bachmann said Iran had threatened the US with nukes. Which is strange considering they don't recognise the US nor Israel.)

    Seriously though, the thought of a mad dictator with the capability to fire nuclear is terrifying. First and foremost it poses a large threat to the well-being of every single citizen on the planet. That is 7 billion people that could potentially be effected if Iran were to produce nuclear weapons. From a view of common fucking sense it would be insane not to go to war for a reason such as that. Anyway that thinks otherwise is fucking retarded.

    On the topic of who it would be to start the war, one would have to assume America or an American backed country.

    It's not okay for Iran to produce it, but it's perfectly okay for the Americans to produce literally thousands of nuclear warheads. It's stupid to think that this is a justification for war, to be "disarming" countries wherever America sees fit. It doesn't matter if it's a dictator or a president at the button when it comes to throwing nuclear weapons at people.

    North Korea has nukes. It has actually detonated them.
    Pakistan has nukes. It's a very unstable country.
    Iran says it's pursuing a civilian nuclear program. It has not detonated nuclear weapons. Its defence strategy is deterrence, meaning that if they got one they wouldn't use it. Iran has not invaded any country for 270 years. Leave them the fuck alone.

    An unprovoked attack on a country only interested in defending itself and getting rid of foreign influence in the region will result in war. You think Iran won't respond to missile attacks? You think the missile attacks will work perfectly and no innocent people will be killed? I have news for you - it will trigger a war. And a war between Israel, the US, the UK and Iran would be deadly, and not just for our various armed forces. This is yet more imperialism from the US and yet more Israeli warmongering hawk action.

    Military help for any mission? If there were any reservations of whether we were a puppet of the US, there isn't any now. It makes me sick.

    Exactly. A democratically elected Bachmann would be more scary than Ahmadinejad with the red button on their desk.

    It is not allowed to have nuclear weapons at all. It agreed to as much when it signed the NPT.

    You give Iran far more credit than they deserve.

    That's very simply nonsense. You might say that we're maintaining our hegemony or something cynical like that, but in no way is it imperialism.

    Israel has more than enough legitimacy in a war against Iran.
