Personally I dont hate CoD, infact I quite like the singleplayer campaigns (The plot is so over the top 24 rip-off that it cant be anything but entertaining), and I think CoD funnily enough beats BF3 for example on the SP front. Multiplayer, not really my cup of tea, but I can understand how people who want to actually compete against eachother in a fine game of shooty-shooty-bang-bang enjoy this game so much. Then again, even though I prefer BF3 multiplayer because of the feel that youre actually achieving something, I have to say that CoD has its charm in the mindless shooting.

It fails, and to all other CoD supporters I seriously advise you to do the same.

obviously nobody here has played MW3. or else you wouldn't be calling it MW2.5..... of course it's just the other 2 put together. that's what we all knew it would be. they took the good parts from the other 2 so they could make a fitting ending to the modern warfare series. i will not play BF3 until they fix the massive bugs and glitches in the multiplayer. i don't care if you like it or not. i won't stop playing it just because some douche says they don't like it.
Get real, all they have done to the visuals is updated the shader model and changed a few other visuals. They have changed a few stats on guns and replaced some of the skins. This game should hardly take half a year to make, let alone two god damn fucking years and for £40. I might pick it up second hand in a long time, but I refuse to pay more than £25 for this game.
there is a glitch which breaks the multiplayer for you. when you try to change kits under certain circumstances you get stuck with no weapons. you do realise they completely overhauled the series right? new gun sounds. informative maps. more balance. tons of new game modes. the list goes on i would expect a masterpiece like this to be made in at least 3 years. IW did an amazing job
