Did Martin Luther King succeed through violence? No. He accomplished his goal(s) via protests that did not involve mass riots of people throwing rocks through windows.

Fun fact, the civil rights marches of Martin Luther King were white guys, some of whom were critical of the movement. Take from that what you will.

I think that they were refering to the statement's condeluded nature which may or may not have included the blaringly obvious lack of basic English structure and organization.

lol I just reread it. I meant to say that the marches were actually organized by white guys who were not affiliated with the movement before that. Hopefully I thought straight that time.

Not biased at all. There is an obvious problem there, and that chart has some truth. But to suggest what you have been suggesting isn't the solution I was thinking of. I was thinking that the government and the economy are too far intertwined, and corporations and government are too often looking out for each other, and we need to permanently separate them.

Or you could have public campaign funding.

That's an interesting idea.
