The most recent war against the UK in US History is the War of 1812. All battles of the war were over by 1814. Robert E. Lee was born on January 19, 1807. To answer your question, I'm not entirely sure why a 5 year old would be leading the US Army.
What if battle? If the Germans overran Moscow If the Muslims stopped the mongols in Persia If the Polish-Lithuanian commonwealth never fell, and conquered Berlin If the Ottomans won the battle of Vienna with minimal loses If the white army won the Russian Civil War If the Confederates won the battle of Gettysburg If WW1 didnt involve trench warfare
That could have decided the fate of both the Britains and Napoleon, if it was before Nepoleon invaded Russia(Bad idea) than most likely The Britains would be flying a French flag to this day. That is if Nepoleon does not invade Russia and Waterloo does not happen. And to top it all of do to France's Catholic beliefs Ireland would most likely be it's own country and not have such a huge problem with it's neighbors.
Alexander the Great vs. Julius Caesar would be quite the battle but even with my Roman bloud line and support I still don't know who would win. But Napoleon vs Suvorov I have no doubt that if it is fought on Russian ground Suvorov would cover the snow with French bloud including Napoleons.
Life would have been a bit more difficult and the Americans would have to work a lot harder for the incredibly determind Japs.
Well that's just silly. Have you looked at the navies of the time. The British had a massive local naval superiority in the channel. Any attempt to cross it by a German surface fleet would be disasterous. The Germans only viable naval asset were the Wolfpacks. Furthermore if the German fleet managed to get an army across the Channel it would face some 1,5 million milita volounteers and and 500.000 soldiers. Also I'm not a mod, but Euin O'Donally dont quadruple post. You can quote several posts in one of your posts.
I'm sorry but I find it bloody stupid that you are going so scorn me for posting 4 times in a row. I could understand if I were some doughty little kid just posting a load of crap full of bad words and doesn't benefit anybody. But I'm actually posting things that are an actual opinion that matters toward the subject//question at hand. So truly don't waste my time by saying don't double post and crap like that, because this is a forum in which is a place that I am able to share my opinion with everybody. I am a highly opinionated European and if you have a problem with my points and opinions you can file a complaint right to Stalin him self. Stop wasting my time and others my putting that crap.
Donally you could very easily just include all of those 4 posts in a single post. this is your warning to not do it again.
Its called breaking the forum's rules. And there is a little button on every post you make that says 'edit'. I make use of it. Kali makes use of it. Pretty much everyone else does too. Being strongly politically inclined does not excuse you from using the 'edit' button like the rest of us mere mortals. I have posted HUGE posts on the forums, but I do not recall a single time in which I have double posted rather than used the 'edit' button. The forum rules hold that if you double post or post any more than once in a row, then the Mods have every right and indeed, an obligation, to delete your excess posts, no matter how much time and effort you put into them. The nicer ones might pull all of your posts together before deletion, but they are not obligated to do what you should have done in the first place.
What if Putin personally attacked the Eastern European nations who had a bit of natural gas and cash-flow related trouble? What if Thatcher didn't insist on retaking the Falkland islands? Could be sort of interesting
What if the US went to war with the British and her Commonwealth allies in the 1920s/1930s as detailed in War Plan Red. There seems to be a belief that the US would take Canada and maybe some Caribbean islands, but reach a stalemate with the Royal Navy on the ocean. So you have the potential for a massive land war on the North American continent AND huge naval battles between the two biggest navies in the world. I'm drooling just thinking about it.
Well on the question of what if Napeoleon invaded Britain, if he won the battle of Trafalgar Britain would have been flying a French flag because once he lands his troops in England it would be game over for the British.
Since you guys are so eager for answers of these questions: http://alternatehistory.com/discussion/ You can almost find a timeline for any interesting "what if"
