all well and good but a large part of the cost could be cut if it was just handled better. most stuff that comes out of R&D now adays is one of two things. 1 only a little bit better then what it's replacing while costing 2 times as much, or 2 has a maintenance cost that makes in very inefficient.

That's an administrative issue, not a policy one.

Downsizing the budget won't remedy any perceived ills with the DoD's application of its funds. It's counterproductive, in that regard, because the first programs to go when budgets are cut are the smaller ones. Bigger projects are shielded by their inefficiency. The kind of change necessary to downsize inefficiency isn't policy one, it's an administrative one.

a change of policy to project that could have an impact on current ways of fighting war would help, also using an incentives program for projects that efficient could curb this downward spiral we are in with out military R&D

Well, R&D will always be essential, and is still a major part of even the smallest military's budget. While R&D does produce mostly duds, every once an a while it gets something good.

If we're safe we can do all the fun stuff, right?

make one less aircraft carrier and spend that money on education, perticularly geography.

There is just too much video's similar to this one depicting idiocy among Beauty Padgeant candidates that it is insane to ask anyone which specific video they got their idea from.

yep watched muiltiple similar vids and read some were that 30% of all young americans can't find the pacific ocean on a blank map.

however i know see that people don't rage on the milatary isn't hated on by people as much as my school.
