As we all know Bioware is making an MMORPG, called Star Wars: The Old Republic, at first I was quite disgusted with how Bioware/Obsidian gave us a fucking cliff hanger, and would of much rather prefered a KOTOR 3 where the Exile and Revan return unsuccessful(obviously, since the true Sith are supposed to be the most powerful beings in the SW 'verse) and somehow try to prepare the galaxy however I and a bunch of other disappoint fans did not recieve that instead.... we got a game that was still thousands of years before the movies, however, 300 years AFTER the original events of KOTOR, so..... what? two main characters of the series just disappear and never return? talk about Piss poor story telling and just plain laziness in general. So after hearing this, I decided 'fuck this shit' and would just wait until some gaming company had the sense to make a 3rd Kotor, months passed however, and I semi-changed my mind, deciding to give this MMO a chance(even though they still could of just made an MMO based on after KOTOR 2, meh maybe they ran out of ideas with KOTOR) however my once concern is this: WILL THIS GAME GO IN TO ANY FREAKING DETAIL ABOUT WHAT HAPPENED TO THE BOTH HEROES OF THE KOTOR TRILOGY, EXILE AND REVAN?! I don't give a shit what the explanation is, I just hate being fed a good story with no ending ya know?
They said that this game will follow up the story of kotor 1 & 2 with an added plethora of tales which you determine.
I'm still sore over how they threw out KOTOR 3 and put out crap like Force Unleashed instead. Nobody's EVER managed to do a story driven MMO before, and I don't expect them to succeed in this way here. Even if they do, MMOs aren't my cup of tea anyway.
Bioware never developed force unleashed so i don't know what you are talking about? Anyway KOTOR was very similar to an mmorpg in many ways so they decided that it's time to make an mmo to tell the story of kotor 3, 4, 5 and so on. Bioware is not dropping the the customizable story.
