    Yes, EDM, Electronic Dance Music, most genre's of EDM tend to come from many other genre's, then you have to look at sub-genre's. Electronic Dance music is not a genre itself but the root of a Tree which branches off towards many other genre's.

    As well as Rave had been formed by many other types of music, we identify an EDM genre by how it sounds, not the way it is produced. As you do any other type of music, non-electronic.
