I am going through with my plans to host the second forum game of Darkest Hour with the Kaiserreich Mod. The game will be held on this Saturday at 9:00 pm EST. I can host up to 16 people. Anyone is welcome to join. However, to ensure that everyone has the same opportunity to join, positions 2-10 will be reserved for anyone who did not partake in last week's game. If these positions are not filled by Thursday night, they will be open to anyone. Sign up will end at 3:00 pm EST on Saturday. Please note that once you have selected a country, I will not change your choice for any reason. It will be first come first serve. This week, I am not reserving any country for myself and will decide which country I will play as based on the nations chosen by the participating members. I will not choose a nation that would directly interfere with expansive ambitions of other players. You can declare war on me, however keep in mind that if I am annexed, the game will end, since I am the host. In my opinion, last week's game went fairly well, however, it was honestly a pain in the ass to manage. Do to this, I've drawn up a loose doctrine of organization for how the game will be run, as well, an Expected Code of Conduct. While these may be expanded or refined with time, they should be considered here on out to be the de facto guidelines of these weekly games. Game Organization - There will be 1 game session held for each scheduled event. - If you do not have the appropriate version of the game, we will not wait for you to obtain an appropriate copy. - If you are not partaking in the game session, you will not be welcome in the Skype call. - If I, as the host, experience technical difficulties while the game is taking place, I will work to correct them as quickly as possible so that the game can resume from the most recent save file. Expected Code of Conduct 1. If I commit any verbal or written insults or transgressions against the host or other players, it will see me removed from the Skype call indefinitely, if my actions persist, I will be removed from the game session, and if they persist further, I will be banned from participation in these weekly games. 2. I will not, for any reason, attempt to break any chain of events that any player or players, other than myself, are working to complete in the game session. 3. I will not, for any reason, declare war on a nation without the intention of enacting military operations against them. This action may result in banning from the game session. 4. If I declare war on more than 3 nations at once with no purpose, or with the intention to break the game, I will be banned indefinitely from any future games. Informal Rights (To be treated as an expansion of the the Expected Code of Conduct) - It is my right to form secret alliances with other members of the game session, on a session to session basis. If the host determines that any members are forming continued alliances, they will not be permitted to take part in the same game sessions. - It is my right to give my position to another member of my choosing, if I am not able to, or not interested in partaking in this week's game once I have signed up. - I hold no obligation to partake in the host's Skype call and may host my own for the purpose of the session. The Game Organization, Expected Code of Conduct, and Informal Rights may be amended for future games. It is important for me to say that I am not a professional. In the course of unfortunate events, I may not be able to fulfill my commitment every week, and some games may be canceled or rescheduled once they've been announced.
