    The only reasoning I can think of for that long of a barrel is if it were to be an Anti-Material rifle. Aren't SV rifles bolt action?

    Why ask a question like that, don't they look nice? In all seriousness, probably because of mixing with countries west of the Bloc, although I have no clue, maybe it's a natural female gene that Slavics tend to have.

    I have always admired the bravery of the Russian Army. They held together one of the largest countries in times of great stress. The soldiers I admire most of all are the Red Army. Even thought I didn't agree with there beliefs, they helped to rid the earth of the worst breed of people, the Nazis and they did it despite most of the odds being against them. In short, if any army in history best represents the armed forces of the world, it is Russian army(excluding the military of my home nation of course).
