Dulce de leche is meh though, it's unique but in Brazil for some reason we have a load of variations for it.

Mexico was colonized by the mesoamerican tribes ( aztecs, tlaxcalas, mayas), the spanish called the mesoamerican people "mexicas", mix one with another and bam, there's your answer.

Ok so here's what happened. The founders of Canada were all sitting around trying to think of a name for their new country. They decided to just throw out letters and hope something would come to them. The first one said, "C, eh" the second said, "N, eh" and the last one said, "D, eh."

And that is how Canada got it's name.

We have like 4 Argentinians in the entire country and Spanish is a very small language group here. Learning Russian would be more helpful.

We (the UK), are the only country other than Brazil that hates Argentina.

There is a reason for that and it has to do with a Stone cold Bitch named Margret Thatcher.

Apparently it's because of some dodgy football World Cup goal, as well as the Falklands War. But mostly the football.

If the World Cup is the excuse, everybody hates England. I hate to pick on the English, but after watching that Panorama "racist arsehole fans" special, I somehow feel a great anger against those hooligan buggers. It's like a bigger version of Rangers.

Well, you're not an England fan, so you were always going to fall into the trap of thinking the war was more important. Me, I support Germany (see Toast's above post for part of the justification).

Yes, Maradona is the football player, the one of "la mano de Dios". But Galtieri was the head of the Army, one of the "presidents" of the Junta, who had the great idea of sending boys of barely 18 years to the Malvinas.

To be fair, Thatcher did the same, and she had to send them further. Not that I support the Junta or anything, but I don't support Britain on this one either; a quick glance at a map or globe sums up my opinion of it.
Not that I can do anything about it.

Yarpen, you could come live in the US. Muchos personas toman (I feel like that is the right conjugation) las clases de Español en la escuela, así usted puedes communicado.

I hope you can understand that. Please correct me if I am wrong.

Well, Canada is a very diverse country, very friendly and has a high immigration rate. I'm guessing a lot of Hispanics are going to be enticed into coming here in the future.

Edit: Toronto has many sub-divisions dedicated to different races, based on the number of the certain peoples living there. I'm not sure if there is a pretty large area for that specific country, but the ammount of people speaking Spanish and Portuguese is pretty large.

"MuchAs personas toman las clases de español en la escuela, así que usted (usted is the formal way, tu or vos is the informal) puede comunicarse" But it was pretty good spanish anyways :p Maybe there are some psychological implications, but I'm not very fond of US, is too American for my taste (lol?).
