As of 2277, the splinter faction consists only of a small detachment in Chicago. This coupled with Caesar's Legion control over much of Colorado implies the Calculator was destroyed. The Midwestern chapter has come into some contact with the original, West Coast Brotherhood, but it refused to accept the authority of the Lost Hillselders. Thus, they are considered to be rogue by the rest of the Brotherhood. Thats the official cannon of the Midwestern brotherhood.
It is also canon that the Legion is suffering from civil war with the death of Kaiser. So with that, the Midwestern BOS takes back its land. And in any case, we pushed all the way to the Appalacians. The Calculator is allegedly lost, but the factories producing the robotic warriors for the Midwestern BOS are not. OOC: Who is the Legion in this game anyways? Oh, and the Western BOS only considers the Western BOS not to be rouge so that does not count for much.
O.k we need to get an accurate date of when this is taking place. It has to be right after the events of fallout tactics so 2200s, or right after new Vegas 2290s-2300s. Then we can gather who controls what.
Um, no we don't. This game takes place post-NV in any case. The Legion is collapsing and the NCR is in decline. That only makes sense what with so many factions popping up like in California, which is canonically mostly under the NCR's control, and east of the NCR, most of which is canonically Legion or Midwestern BOS terrictory. It would never happen otherwise. If it was decided that this should be pre-NV, then none of the factions here except mine could exist.
Well the unity controls north California and some upper states like Oregon, Washington, Idaho and Montana, and a stake inside Southern California and Nevada. We are bordered by the fractured NCR to the south, and the Legion to the east. We have some contact with the Midwestern brotherhood of steel although it is minimal. Also the unity would like to report its capture of a ghoul city, run by a tyrant named set, it will not be using the vast water supply of the city and sending it to other nations who are in need.
Oakland is in Central California in the San Francisco Bay area. We control part of the Northeastern and Southeastern San Francisco Bay area.

I was hoping that uniting San Francisco would be a bit easier but since the collapse of the legion and the weakening of the NCR, factions have been popping up everywhere. You and me are the product of this. I will agree to this alliance and the deal. However, I have a request of my own. Our goal will not change, but we will not conquer you.
