Skyrim's a big game, so I'm sure some people, like me, have questions about the game/gameplay/etc. My question is: If I am using a Bound Sword (One-handed), would putting skills in One-handed improve those weapons, or should I focus on Conjuration?
Yes, as far as I know, the corresponding skill to a Bound weapon does improve it. It levels up one-hand during use for me.
Go to an area with enemies, get to an area where they can't reach you. Cast Bound sword a billion times 100 conjuration =)
Get smithing to 100. Make a million iron daggers. Buy all the iron ore from any merchant who carries it. You will thank me when you're wearing the best armor, looking all badass and taking hits from giants.
I actually like bound weapons a lot. I have a perk that has them soul trap enemies, and since they get a bonus from conjuration and one handed, it makes them uber powerful.
It is cheating. I can't see how it is as fun either. If I was on PC I would only use console commands for emergency bug or stuck situations and for being ridiculous, like creating giant super chickens.
A good way to boost conjuration is to raise a zombie and then kill that zombie yourself. It will attack you if I remember correctly.
I'm having a problem. I can't become Thane of Riften, after doing the skooma quest I don't have a dialogue option with the Jarl that allows for the help 5 people quest.
You just go help the people after 10 people are helped you can become Thane. List: http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Honeyside
I have another problem. I picked up a companion Illda, and I want to give her better armor. How do I do that?
Umm... did you try putting it in her inventory? She should equip the best armor that you give her. If she does not, you may have glitch on your hands.
I'm doing the murder mystery mission in Windhelm. I have gotten the necklace and have had it appraised by the Oddities guy, but I can't do anything else. My objectives say I still need to investigate. Is it glitched?
