He was actually born in 1941 Vyatskoye, Siberia (a town close to Chinas border). His father Kim Il-sung was serving in the russian military at the time and his mother Kim Jong-suk was a communist politician. both of them became major politicians in North-Korea

I just noticed that Kim Jong-un looks much like his paternal grandfather Kim il-Sung in his younger years...

And here's some footage of the Eternal President with Che...

Never would have thought his father would have became major polticians of the NK, but its not like he was leader or anything ;)

It's because the Great Leader is just a reincarnation of his grandpa.

This is what I've always wondered about communist countries... What's up with that whole cult of personality? Why do we see these disgusting images of children offering flowers to their leaders?

Why do we see masses of people holding images of their leaders?

And why were the embalmed corpses of great leaders put in mausoleums? Even if it was against their own will?

I think people tend to join the faction with the most followers, and if they keep spreading that propaganda, people will look less negative upon them. I find it pretty fascinating, really.

Kim Jong-il was a Chinese emperor in disguise... Look at these simularities...

    - His term was indefinate.
    - He had several wives and even concubines.
    - He was rather some kinda demigod than a human being.
    - He was worshipped by the people.
    - He lived in wealth behind the walls of his palace(s) (defectors claimed that he had about 17 of those across the country) while his people were suffering and starving to death.
    - He had absolute power.
    - His father too was leader of the country and he'll be succeeded by his own son.

True fact: North Korea invented the Hamburger, originally called the Kimburger.

Actually it was called two slices of bread and meat even though North Koreans don't know what bread or meat is.
