Skyrim: What Race are you? and Did you side with the empire or the Stromcloaks?

Unless you are like me and have enchanted armor that give 100% to reduce cost of destruction.

I am a Nord and I sided with the Stromcloaks because the Empire agreed to banning Talos who was a Nord in life but the elves can hardly even stand men and they have to drive us out of our homes so of course they would hate Talos but he is a god so we must defeat the Empire if they can't hold to their own Religious beliefs. Plus Nords are badass.

Orc with the Stormcloaks because the Empire is a dying establishment of oppression and corruption. Ulfric will kill off the corrupt Jarls and emplace a stable political system! Ulfric is kind of a douche though. I went over there to remonise about our time as execution buddies but he wouldn't even give me the time of day. Well fuck you Ulfric, I can breathe radioactive lasers.

My next character is a High Elf Mage who uses mostly Conjuration. Meaning I send in my Atronioc to do all the work for me. Yes, I'm too lazy to adventure properly. I'm going to side with the Empire because the Stormcloaks would rather I get my head chopped off than let me do my own thing. Fuck those racist bastards, the Empire will allow tolerance to flourish and create peace and stability!

Personally I think in game they give you more reasons to support the stormcloaks and really try to push you that way.

I think they push people who have played previous Elder Scrolls games to join the Stormcloaks with banning the worship of Talos. That was the main reason I joined them.

I joined Empire cause I still fail to see the evidence that Talos is in fact a god.

The Knights of the Nine questline where you received his blessing that is some evidence.

Got the book but have yet to do, But even so I think its better to support the imperials (because even so alot of Imperial Nords back Talos) but they are smart enough to know that the Empire is the only force who can stand up to the evil elf Dominion.

That is a valid point, the empire would be stronger if Skyrim helped but in the Great War they only just won, if skyrim's armies were independent the thalmor wouldn't have as much information as they would on the Empire because their power would be non-existent in Skyrim.

Plus all of you supporting Stormcloaks because the Empire banned Talos- the Empire never enforced the ban until Ulfric started making a fuss about it. They let that Talos priest preach right in the middle of Whiterun without lifting a finger, and there's a Talos shrine in Markarth. The Empire also hates the Thalmor, but needs to rebuild its military strength after the Great War, so they play along with the Thalmor's wishes for now.
