Same, started going hunting with my dad around age 5, plan on raising my kids the same way; unless they don't like it obviously.
    I own many hunting rifles including a .338, .308, .300, .270, .243, .22, .17 HMR; 2compound bows, 4 12 Guage Shotguns, 2 20 Guage Shot Guns, and a Glock .45
I am safe in case of a Zombie attack, hopefully!<-Joke, for you overly serious people.

Their are differences between a country like America and a country like Britain, in the US we have always owned and used firearms, unlike in Europe, so it is a right in our constitution. Also, in modern America, hunting is widely popular, and a large population of voters would be upset if this right were taken away and they could no longer hunt. But you are right in believing that in a perfect society firearms would be non- existent.

On topic we have hunting guns lying around here somewhere. My father and brother go hunting occasionally, and we own a bow

Then give me a reason why people shouldn't have guns ? i don't know what people you hang out with or where you hang out with them but today there is nothing called a fair fight... have you ever been robbed? I bet you havn't and just because you have a gun doesn't mean you have to kill people but if someone pulls a knife on you and you pull a gun i bet he will be the one that runs away.

Yup, since britian banned firearms nobody is killed anymore, since guns are not around to commit murder. Thank you Britian we now know how to stop all of the murders and crime tha happen in our country. I mean it's not like gangs and crimials in the US get most of their guns illegialy. Yea criminals definatly abide by the law and go through the mandatory background check when purchasing firearms, letting the government know that they have purchased that weapon, instead of just going through the black market.

Since Ecole Polytechnique Canada has adopted a lot more strict gun controls and even before that the Criminal Law Amendment Act of the 60s banned a lot of weapons.
