Christian Americans don't realize that half the world doesn't even believe in same god(s).

You can pray all you want. No one will stop you, but if your trying to have a Mass on the playground they might want it ended.

Were roman catholic, There is a huge fucking difference, we pray to the Holy mother and believe jesus was a prophet not god himself. and a lot of Hispanics are not Christians.

Are you fucking trolling me? Did you even read the entire post?!
I said that most Americans take it for granted that Hispanics are Christians... Which most of them are. Whether or not there is a difference between the branches of Christianity is totally irellevant.

While you do raise a good point I honestly have to call bullshit on this event ever taking place, at the very least as it was described here.

The fuck are you talking about? Sure originally we were the only real form of Christianity, and yes the Protestants and such branched off of us, but really we're part of Christianity.

That's why terms like Christiandom were actively used long before the reformation.

I will admit that it is an arguable point, but for most when referring to Christianity they mean all religious organizations that believe Jesus is the Savior.

Catholics was the first denomination of god, and Christians were fanatics at the time who were insulted when called Christians, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Catholicism what more do you need? Roman Catholics were the First the believers in god.

    Fixed it for you
Actually the first believers in "god" as would be the Jews...
Christianity refers to Catholicism, Protestantism, Calvinism etc. at least today. What it meant hundres if not thousands of years ago is irellevant. And you're linking me to a fucking yahoo answer site?! If you want to give me any credible proof it's gonna have to be from somewhere else. This is the wikipedia article on actual Christianity:(and not just Catholicism) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Christianity
Christianity is derived from the greek word "Khristos" meaning the "anointed one."(that would be as in Jesus Christ) Whether or not Catholics were the first is irrelevant. Christianity it the whole tree.(or the roots depending on how you view it) Catholicism is the largest branch. Just because it was first doesn't mean it's the only one.
You can compare it to Sunni and Shia Islam which is both part of the Islamic faith and not individual religions.

Definately. What else would you be?
