    Ok well Poland was always bitter rivals with everyone around them, and being land locked they had to survive by the skin of there teeth. (which they did for the most part) even after the country was swallowed up in the early 1700's they kept there culture and language. Thats badass. ps Winged Hussars kicked ass![IMG]

    I have both German and Polish descent, beat that.

    And Polish Hussars are so badass that they charged a Panzer divisions, sadly it was unsuccessful.

    Actually that is a fought over point. Some say it was italian propaganda showing that the Poles where desperate fools. If it was true I will obviously say more Noble and Brave.

    What Holy Orders "other than Teutonic" fought the mongols? The mongols did fall on the doorstep of Poland. But the Poles needed help so who did?

    The Teutonic Order didn't properly fight the Mongols, that honor stays for Poland and Hungary in the North, Mamluks in the Middle East. Btw the Teutonic Order itself didn't have nearly enough numbers to confront the Mongols after the Poles joined with the Lithuanians, the only reason they weren't wiped off the Earth before is because they were protected by the Holy Roman Empire, which easily had the biggest military force in Europe aside from the Mongols themselves.
