No... Not really, but that's probably because of my foreign tongue...

Liquorice in that shape always reminds me of tyres, but I have actually eaten one today (not in that shape, but in half winegum half liquorice form). I have never really liked liquorice, but now I seem to more appreciate it...

Canada demands the tributary tulip...otherwise we detonate the explosives we left from 1945.

I was in Rotterdam a few years back, where I was offered a piece of what I assumed to be sugar-coated liquorice; only when I put it in my mouth did I realise it was SALT. Not nice.

I think you're the first foreign person who likes liquorice I've ever met. You sir, have blown my mind.

It tastes like leather. Not normal leather though, it tastes like a baseball glove used too much.

I have to ask why you were chewing and or licking old baseball gloves? Is that a normal thing to do in the Netherlands?

Yeah, it's a way of greeting. We got that tradition from the Texans, who tend to do that, even when not greeting anyone.

I thought the Dutch people would be smarter than to copy Texas. If you guys are doing that how have you not been annexed by now?

We're doing that to mislead the Germans. They think we are completely vulnerable because of our 'mental handicaps', but they don't know it's actually a kind of decoy! Stomme Moffen! Grijg de kolere!

You guys aren't as prepared as the Swiss. Soon they will contact the Swiss guard and begin Phase II.

Baseball is an American sport. When we first saw those weird gloves, we just had no fucking clue what to do with them.

Weren't you against using diseases as insults 'n stuff?

The Swiss have defences set up all around the country, and most bridges are armed with explosive charges to allow them to blow them up in case of an invasion. Doesn't get much more prepared than that. Although the Delta works come close.
