and i'm supposed to trust your words? do i accept them as truth? if the majority of mods say publicly that they agreed then i will drop this.

Apparently him and another mod (Who agreed with him on technicality) constitute an overwhelming majority.

This is exactly what has been fucking going on for ages. Kali has been bitching about the Soviet Bloc's members time and time again. And when he fails to actually show anything wrong with them he finds the lowest technicality to draw up against them.

You'd have to be nonsensical or Kali to think that Ler's 1 warning, given by only a small deliberation of the modship, should justly prohibit him from running.

It gets better when you think that 1 of the 2 people they sent has a passionate hatred of Ler. What kind of logic is that? The fact that this is being held against Ler is ridiculous.

I never said anything close to that. But under our current system Stalin does have the final saya in all things.

Waiting for every single moderator to voice his/her opinion before doing anything is completely pointless. When I gave toast his 1 week ban I did so with only the agreement of 1 other moderator. I did it because the rules make the topic of how I react to be mostly dictated to me. If I was incapable of something as simple as a rule following exercise then why would I have such a position of power?

As for Ler, I believe I agreed with his warning, and continue to agree with it. He broke the rules, and I'm not going to make exceptions.

well he should only have to do so if the mods are at a stalemate. stalin should be a tie-breaker. not a glorified moderater

There was no actual voiced dissent to the decision. The people who voiced their assent were myself, Mayor, Uni, matt, D3adtrap, and pedro. That's a majority, and noel/Lucy weren't actually there for it. Chelsea didn't say specifically either way, but honestly there isn't any room for interpretation as to whether or not Ler violated the rules; it was blatantly obvious and he offered no defense.

A president doesn't own an entire country. If they did what would be the reason of a Republic if all the power was in the hands of one person?

what would the reason for a group of moderators be if all the power is held by one man?

Because the site is owned by a person, unlike a Republic. It doesn't take rocket physics to understand that.

if stalin can punish anyone he wants when the vote shows they shouldn't what stops him from just getting rid of tribunes he doesn't like?

His own morals. He could simply at any moment ban anyone in here for a random reason, but he doesn't because he simply loves his site and the members.
