Spencer does not need to be crowned or even be in public. He just needs aliens.

He did more good than bad?! Could you tell me what justifies killing/being responsible:
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Holodomor: 2.4-7.5 million.
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gulag: 1.6 million(with a further 14 million imprisoned)
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Forced_settlements_in_the_Soviet_Union: 0.39 million.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Political_repression_in_the_Soviet_Union#Loss_of_life: debatable but about 7 million(with a huge number being "repressed")
And that's just some. The death toll ranges between 3-60 million people killed during Stalin's regime.

Bukharin would've been interesting. Trotsky would've floundered. There would've been much less death either way though.

Please don't get to this, I've dealt with this argument a numerous of times. I do blame myself for getting us to this point, but let's drop it.

The Russian economy is growing, but Vladimir Putin has done a good job on that field at least. On terms of corruption that needs to be dealt with efficiently. Medvedev is like a puppet towards the West compared to Putin. So I'd rather see Putin take presidential power in this years election even though the Russian elections were fraudulent. To be honest I would like to see the communist take power again, but we will have to wait and see in the future ahead.

Well one thing is I'm not sure is if anyone other than Stalin would of done what was nessasary to defended the USSR from the Nazis. Also a funny thing is without Stalin would the battle of Stalingrad happen because in real history Hitler split up his forces, one to attack Stalingrad and one to attack the oil fields in the caucuses. So lets just say in a history without Stalin, Stalingrad is just some city and now that the city doesn't have the leader name in it. Hitler decides not to split up his forces and uses all his troops to attack the oil fields. Also lets say that Hitler did decide to attack stalingrad but now that it doesn't have the leaders name in it would the Soviets keep poring troops into the city to defended it without the hole symbolic meaning behided the city's name.

I always thought that despite being most well-known (well now at least), Trotsky was last in line to take over from Lenin. Kamenev and Zinoviev seem like far more viable candidates; Kamenev was acting leader while Lenin was ill I think.
Not sure, I guess they kind of liked him round those parts for a bit.

so.. he would be born in a mountain in the Urals and when he would be born, there would be a double rainbow in the sky with swallows all around with a new star being magically conjured up to celebrate his birth?

Don't get me wrong, Putin is doing good for the country, but is he doing good for the people? Now, I don't know too much about Vladimir, but from rumors and what not that hasn't been confirmed, it doesn't put Putin in a good spot. For example, the shutting down of NTV, we know that the FSB has shut that television station down but Putin says he was no part of it. The television stations' satirical comedy was directed at him, which would be odd for anybody other than Putin to want it closed down. Maybe you have more information about this?
