    by the way you word this it sounds like you think there is only one Gundam anime, there are at the time of typing this 24 different series all vastly different from each other and many set in different times, it's not a single show it's a metaseries that has been running for 30 years. a single Gundam show may not appeal to you but as i said there are 30 years of gundam out there and many of them very very different.

    from the first show that is a very character driven show with parallels to WW2 and the cold war to Gundam OO that is about terrorism and human nature with links to the current political climate, and thats only 2 of the shows there's still 08th ms team, zeta and ZZ, f91, AGE, seed, etc and etc.

    and yes i did watch black lagoon, it was crap on par with neon genesis evangelion. all style no substance
