    I hope they do it this time, so hopefully others can follow.

    I've heard the Liberals are supporting it. I would jump to the conclusion that political parties are only doing this to gain attention from people who would normally not care for politics, but I think it's a tad more than that.

    The topic title is ridiculously misleading. Canada is not 'to legalize marijuana.' A party (a dwindling one at that) changing its platform is not the same thing as a government adopting new policy.

    As if that matters. What is wrong is wrong and I'm not going to let it go unaddressed because it's nice.

    But you could state it in a way that make you seem like less of an asshole.
    Do you know any other languages than English?

    Kinda breaking your own rule here, Kali. One worded posts aren't allowed in the Coffee House.

    Misleading however if the nation does legalize it I know one person who will move there as quick as he can.

    @Warburg
    Yes, now in my fourth semester of Arabic and I've been able to speak and write in Spanish for a long time.

    The rule doesn't prevent tone word posts, it makes them subject to deletion. Whether or not they deserve it depends on the discretion of the moderator, though as a general rule I only delete posts if they are terrible abominations of grammar and aren't central to a discussion. As well it largely depends on my mood as to whether or not I'll even bother deleting those. The purpose of the rule is to allow policing of grammar without necessitating it.

    I don't mind. People like Kali need to refill their already over inflated ego some times.

    :)
    And unless you're perfect, you have made mistakes just like everyone who has English as their second(or third) language.

    Of course, and not only are people right to call me out on them, but it actively benefits me to be corrected. Social pressure is the strongest motivator in language development, and in particular linguistic and lexical criticism force people to learn.

    Not in my nature. Insufferable genius is a phrase that's been used to describe me on more than one occasion and I entirely consider it a compliment.
