There people just like anyone else, however I dislike the fundamental atheist who refuses to accept in the possibility of ever being wrong and then goes around and hates on everyone else, its no better then a fundamental anything. for if you have some sort of belief, you have to accept or at least have an idea that your belief is wrong and accept the consequences for your choice, I've come to terms that yeah I might be wrong but who knows. However when a atheist is not a complete asshole there usually very intelligent and I admire that and at least try to have a bigger understand of more religions (even if it is usually to point out why there better then that Religion)

However my view on Atheist may not be universal or go to every atheist in the world.

We'd be better of without extremism and fundamentalism. Shamefully, this will probably never happen.

Cool to look back on? No, not really. The Crusades and the Inquisition were black pages in human history.

Oh, like that. Yes, I can imagine it being a very interesting subject to study. It wasn't really happy time, though.

Definitely not a happy time, well then again being absolved of all my sins does sound pretty cool, OH FUCK YEAH NO SINS *Kills a bunch of Muslims* and then I'll end up in hell going Son of a bitch. though one of the more interesting things of the crusades was the use of children in it.

Yep, the Church really has something for abusing small children in any way possible, hasn't it?
By the way, did you ever see Crusade in Jeans? It's quite a good movie from an even better book. The start of the movie doesn't exactly follow the book, nor does one of the main characters, but it's still a very good book/movie.

I don't know if the book has been translated in English (it's a Dutch book), but the movie was directed in English. I can really recommend it (and a friend of mine apparently had a very small role in it as well).

I too dislike these anti-theists who like to show outward hostility towards religion and religious people and who think they're more intelligent than than any theist purely because they are an atheist.

My view is generally don't be an asshole and all will be well in the end, however I think Marcus Aurelius can say it better then I can so
