The overwhelming majority of Ler's (As well as all of Ronald's) gains we're made during his first term. In a time when there was actually shit to do. There wasn't much left when Coex and I to office.

So pretty much the Tribune has become a wasted office, and its necessarity is gone.

I only remember Ronald trying to pass ONE thing and one thing only in his first term.So that adds up to a total of doing one thing in two terms. There is still a lot of shit to do. This election has proven that.

If you want something done wouldn't it be far more simpler to I don't know write a mod about it? or at least start a a thread about it?

Why didn't you say so? I'd gladly have compiled a list of grievances. Silly Tribunes, you need to ask to the people for things to do.

Basically. I could certainly think of a better alternative to this system. But, like I said I my campaign thread, I don't care.

I think now is a good time to say, do away with the tribunes. Add 3 new slots in the mods. Fill these slots with people Stalin handpicks and changes every 3 months. No elections. No bother. Simply chosen by Stalin to be mods for 2 months. No person can be in one of these slots twice in a year (Considering only 12 every year, it shouldn't be hard to do). Our current mods all stay in the exact same position they have now. I propose these new 3 slots are called Temporary Mods.
Or the Tribunes could just be handpicked by Stalin without elections.

Contrary to what is being said, Demondaze failed as a Tribune. Tribunes have not failed Demondaze.
As for Coex, he was fine. He didn't "do much" because he was in favor of the status quo.

I'll go make a thread compiling a set of "demands".

You see this is far more efficient then allowing some corrupt tribune do things.

Mosh, I suggest you make a thread outlining (a draft of) your idea. While I disagree, it is still a legitimate idea and is worthy of debate.

Shit actually gets done when you get somebody who actually has the power to do something about i then make a thread about it.
