So I am watching ABC World News and just heard this. Apparently Mitt Romney's 8 vote victory in Iowa turned out to be Rick Santorum's victory by 34 votes! Also, Newt Gingrich is making a surge in South Carolina and Rick Perry dropped out. WTF is going on?!

All I can say is this is just making it a hell of a lot easier for Obama to win.

    Yay and nay.
With the Republicans giving themselves time to make amends by elimating a split vote can help to guarentee that the Republican voters will all vote for the Republican canidate.

On the other hand, the constant infighting may drive swing voters to the other side, seeking stability and unity over vague promises.

If we wanted to, we could create our own political party and elect Chelsea as the head of it. Technically we would be put on the ballot :D. I mean hey we would get more votes than Vermin Supreme. Maybe we can even get Chelse to then drop out of the race and throw her support for Mr. Supreme ;)

My heart is heavy to see Gov. Perry quit. I am saddened and hope another candidate is able to beat Romney. He was a vet. and a great governor. I hope the future is kind to him. I guess Paul or Gingrich will be my guy now, but with Gov. Perry gone I'm not going to follow the election as much. I just hope Romney doesn't win.

It goes to show the consequences of Parry's (with an A for America) ignorance of the world beyond America. First hardly being aware about the existence of Pakistan, calling it "that Pakistani country. Saying at spur of the moment that he would send troops back to Iraq. And earlier this week saying that Turkey's government was run by terrorists. It would seem that the leap from state to national politics is a large one and Parry got stuck in the pit.

Perry sounds like the type of guy who would invade Canada and go "Oh shit I thought this was Iraqistan"

Makes you wonder how Santorum would have done in New Hampshire if people knew he won. Also apparently Perry's Campaign Director Ray Sullivan is making it oddly clear that Perry is looking at not only a reelection as Governor, but a 2016 run. Plus at the time Gingrich requested Perry and Santorum drop out he basically said important people who endorse him could recieve a cabinate position. This was said as his response to Sarah Palin saying she would vote for Gingrich if she lived in South Carolina. Perry might get something positive out of this election after all.
