What?! THe people wishing for Che to be allowed back only ended like a month ago...

I dont like to get likes back. I enjoy handing out likes like candy.
You would still be calling somebody a slave. If i say you are a slave to the capitalist system, I am calling you a slave no matter how you look at it.

That's ridiculous. How is it irrelevant? The same people who want Kali removed from his moderator status because he said something they didn't like were the same people who continuously asked for the unbanning of someone who wished death upon millions just for being born in a certain place. If that isn't hypocrisy I don't know what is.

He does not have an argument against it so he is trying to downplay its role.

A month in forum time is like a century. We're just all immortal.
    =D
Well there is a difference between saying a "fact(I leave it in quotes because I know someone will say "wage slavery isn't a fact")" and an insult.

Because Che wasn't running the forum. In fact, people were taking every step they could to prevent him from running for Tribune.

Also, I remind you that when actual evidence was being stated that made sense we gave up. So yes, he was defended when he got banned for an anti-Israeli picture, when he started his actual mass genocide calls and was actually being cited then we gave up.

Again, he's serving his time for his crimes. Kali is not. That's the injustice here.

Kali has not committed any crimes.

Kali doesn't run the forums. In the end, Stalin owns the forums, the moderators help him...well, moderating. In that position, Kali has done nothing to abuse these powers. His position as a moderator has hardly anything to do with it.

Most cries for the unban started after he was permanently banned. A lot of the people in that group that did did so after he was permanently banned, which means you've dropped support for him long after he actually started sprouting his ridiculous nonsense. This entire accusation is based on hypocrisy, and even though Kali has been acting like a dick, the ones accusing him have either behaved worse, or defended someone who did.

Again, he's serving his time for his crimes. Kali is not. That's the injustice here.[/quote]

And again, if all users who said something someone might find offensive were banned, the forums would be empty. Heck, even among the other staff. I agree, Kali is sometimes close to the line. However, Che leapt over it, and ignored all warnings and previous bans.

Eh, there was far more outcry and bring back Che after his perma ban then after the 2nd ban (which wasn' for an anti-Israeli picture). You can just look for the threads I made announcing his ban, and the poll thread which were far more popular and heated then anything before them.

The 2nd point you're making is that Kali never served time for his crimes. This is contingent on the fact he has committed crimes, which as I've said before, neither the staff nor the majority of the public has deemed to be the case.

Yes, because it was the most serious. And mind you, a lot of it was things like a call for a trail. Which isn't unreasonable.
No no no. Che was banned with little evidence given to the public. We had to bitch and moan for days before someone even bothered to give us any cited materials. And even then a lot of it was debatable (whether or not it was worth a permaban especially). Until people started giving his later stuff which was pretty indefensible and the defense for him fizzled out. Actually I think I formally said the cause was lost and marked the end of any real call for his unbanning in that period of time.
Again, Kali has been harassing members. Again, that is breaking the rules. Again, even if you can defend it as being slightly outside the realm of rule breaking mods must be held to higher standards.
Behaved even worse? Has Ler behaved even worse? When has Lenin Cat committed atrocities against the forum? Does my reluctance to ban a major member of the forum forever without proper evidence justify dismissing my opinion? No, our side has done little, and what little it has we have served our time for.
The job of the Mods is to be better than the cesspool of personal insults and flamewars that plague our forum. If your greatest defense for Kali is that he's only as bad as everyone else, then your defense is sorely lack luster.
And Che is now permabanned. Yet Kali remains a moderator.

I refer you too my previous post containing evidence that he has harassed Ler.

Evidence? He publicly announced everyone who disagreed with him should die a horrible death.

A majority still considers Kali didn't break any rule.

Just because people have been rightfully punished doesn't mean we can just disregard the fact they got a punishment.

There have been plenty of cases where people have said things that other people (who actually care about what others say about them on the internet, I mean, really?), yet the only complaints are directed at Kali, who disagrees with several things these people have said.

Exactly. Why? Because the things Kali said don't even come close to the hatred Che spouted.

Removing Kali would be a disservice to the community. Mods are allowed to have opinions like everyone else and if we start removing them because they quarrel with a few members then I guarantee we would most likely end up removing most of our mods. I have fought with D3adtrap before but I don't bitch about it and cry for his removal. If he hasn't broken any rules other then joint verbal abuse then I fail to see why his removal is necessary.

And no one ever bothered to cite it.
    A vote doesn't decide fact.
You can't discredit everything because a few anti-Kali supporters supported Che and got banned for "hate speech"
Many people, like Toast or Link have been given bans for their personal insults. Personally, I do tend to report Toast's posts that are calling all the Communists a group of socially awkward rejects. However the ridiculousness of the Personal Insults laws prevents me from doing that sometimes etc. etc. Anyway, you do tend to get infractions if you don't do successfully cover your tracks.

Nevertheless, I believe more people would complain about Toast and Link if they had any real power. Otherwise they're just an annoyance.
No one is asking for Kali to be permabanned. Just that he isn't a moderator.

No we wouldn't. Pretty much the entire mod team is fine. Sure people don't like Kali, but no one is calling for Inquisitor's removal, or Chelsea's removal. If anything people support most of the modship(including me). It's just Kali.

Hell, talk to anyone. They'll tell you Pedro, fucking faggot, etc. are all fine bloaks.

How far back is this? I don't even remember saying that or what I quoted.

It was more like I implied that the Communists weren't Socially Awkward Rejects and he disagreed quite bluntly.
    Which includes the forum, whatevs.

This too, sarcasm is either incredibly clear (for instance Lenin Cat talking about how amazing Capitalism is) or in italics.
