Why do I get the impression that a month ban kind of ****es people off and they wouldn't want to come back?

I mean, yeah, all of the people that took month bans came back and got perma banned, but we don't exactly have a large example pool to draw from in terms of... Comment dit-on?.... average members being banned.
Then again, we have a 5000+ strong forums, with some 50 people commonly active.

I don't understand the first part and the part about Chelsea makes no sense since I happen to respect her more than... pretty much everyone else on the forums.
