A.P U.S is for jrs and is considered one of the harder of the A.P classes, to which I have next year. well time to just talk about random historical events and philosophy again.

Personally I'm just glad we got of the FCAT is the most important thing ever bandwagon.

    Life.
It is depressing how few people think and consider things logically anymore and how much better things would be if they did.
Just so you know, I was only talking about the AP World History test.
For French... meh. I probably wouldn't take it. While it could be a potencially useful language, I would only take the test to pad my resume. I would probably only roughly ever use it in my profession.
AP Chem I would only take if I was going into the field. Otherwise, taking the course and most likely failing it would just be a waste of my time and life. And Chem isn't my strong point.
What are you going into btw?
    Really?
I don't find the subject matter to look to difficult.
But then again, it depends on if you can remember the information.
Overall, I prefered reading the World History over the U.S. History. I just prefer being more... worldly.

Really, I would suggest taking the most challenging stuff you think you can handle. AP anything looks better to a college then it's non AP counterpart. Even though I applied to GW as a poli sci major, the fact that I was willing to take, and do okay in AP courses, even though they weren't related, looked good for them. Even if you're not looking to take the AP exam and test out of the course at college, it still looks good. While I did horrible in AP chem, the knowledge I learned there enabled me to pass 2 100 level chem for non science majors classes my first year of college without ever studying or going to class.

Working on my masters in political philosophy and then hopefully going to law school after this. I did a lot of political stuff in highschool but we didn't have an AP program for any of it.

True that a failed AP class usually looks better than a passed CP, but it is better not to spend a ton of energy on something you know that you would never pass in the first place, imo. And besides, they look at your GPA, which would go down with a failed class.

"AP classes are the refuges of the intelligent. They shelter the intelligent from the machinations of the blind, the fools, and the unworthy."

Actually its the IB program that does that, although most IB kids are stupid snobbish rich kids with the basic intelligence of an ant, however they still love the remind you that they are IB and as such will rule you after college to which I reply "And your going with the assumption that a job will come flying to you after college only because of IB"

AP European History, AP American History, AP English Language, AP English Lit, AP Government and Politics bitches! Well, AP Government is easy, and the Histories were really fun. English Lit is fun too. It makes me feel really smart when I say that I have a little homework "Just gotta read some Aristotle and compare his thoughts on tragedy to Miller's modern tragedy of the common man" or "I just have to discuss the connections between Dostoevsky's Underground Man and Hemingway's code initiate."

    Edit:
I have a friend in IB. I laugh at her coursework. I like to think of AP Students like this (The James Gang FYI):

    And IB students as:

    Stereotypes are terrible.

I like to think I am a nice person, who got extremely lucky to be chosen to receive a scholarship to go to a prestigious school like that.

I decline it at first and late came to regret my decision as I honestly didn't know how important I.B really was.
