when you watch the video somewhere near the end the US ambassador says she's 'sickened'.

How can the US be sickened when they vetoed a UN resolution Condemning Israel when they were burning children in the thousands in South Lebanon and Gaza. oh the hypocrisy.

Good lord. Really Russia? Really China? Assad uses military force against his own people and China and Russia feel he should stay. This is stupid!

If you have an organization, where only five of its members can override any decision made by the other members. You get cock blocking on an international scale. Thus is the way of the UN.

True, but that righteous bitch shouldn't be preaching things like this when her own country did the same shit.

She isn't acting righteous at all. She is simply calling it sick. A Russian can call the Jewish Holocaust sick, even thought Russia did something very similar. She never mentioned intolerable acts the US committed, she never disputed them. She is telling it like it is. Calling her a bitch is uncalled for, because it is sick what Assad is doing and what the US has done doesn't change that one bit.

Once again I'm not saying what ASSad is doing is right however, what I am saying is since the US government pretty much had the same approach when it came to Israel killing innocent people in Gaza and South Lebanon they kind of have no right saying 'we're more right then you Russia and China! even though we did the same thing as you did!'

thats like if a woman was cheating on her husband, the husband found out got pissed off and cussed her out, come to find out he's been cheating as well, once again it's that beautiful thing in the world we like to call 'hypocrisy'.

There is no hypocrisy in the issue because they are two different issues. In this case it would be hypocrisy is the US used its military to kill its own protesters then told Syria what they were doing is wrong. No one walked up to President Obama and said "Hey these guys are protesting do you want to shoot them dead in the streets"? Assad is killing to silence his people, those innocent people in Gaza and South Lebanon were on Israel's hands and were killed as a result of war. In war innocent people die. While it is horrible and a tragic loss of life it is different from a man killing just to silence people. The Israeli war itself has grounds for being justifiable. They only invaded after Abu Nidle assassinated Shlomo Argov. In that instance the innocent people killed in Lebanon were killed as a result of Lebanon's actions. Its like saying that after Pearl Harbor its the US's fault that innocent people were killed in the Pacific War. The US is more right than China and Russia about Assad. What they(US) did else where doesn't change that even if it is hypocritical.

How far will you go with that thinking?
If Germany would call it sick and be angry at Russia and china. Would you say that the Germans have no right to call it sick etc because what they did in ww2
(I could also start debating the Israel's situation and the vote for that, but I am tired..ed..)

Doesn't shock me at all, both Russia and China have alot of trade deals and partnerships with the current Syrian regime.

Because its not active regime change revolution, and most people in Mexico actually don't see it as much as the media would like to believe, until just last year Mexico city has been relatively quite of the cartels.

Over 16 000 killed in 2011 and over 47 000 since it started, I would choke myself in laughter if I'd call it quite.

Until the cartel go around demand regime change its still not a civil war, and actually the like the current administration because they have chosen to do nothing about it.
