I know a 22 isn't special but thats the only gun my family owns. I have fired my friends Mosin Nagant once too.
the first shotgun i fired was an old soviet baikal/izhmash with a bakelite butplate that didnt help with recoil i think i was about 11 years old at that time. i still have my shotgun i got when i was 13, its realy short with a 22 inch or 56cm barrel and the butstock is about 3.5 inches to short. i find it suprising that i have an average hit rate of 22 out of 25 when i shoot caly targets.
Guns are bad mmmmkay. I would need a hunting liscence or a gun sport card thing to get a hunting firearm, PDW are illegal her witch is fine by me.
I bet you never fired a gun because you clearly don't know how good protection it can provide. An electric gun may scare some punks away but what if someone calls your bluff BAAM. And ofc what if other people see that you carrying a gun, they dont know it's a fake and they might call cops and stuff that can get you into some serious trouble
Well most robberies aren't committed with guns so just showing yo might have one is enough to scare someone away. Most burglars would also run just because they know your aware of them. Owning a gun can get you in serious trouble in the first place. Can you also please use proper grammar?
Owning a gun can only get you in trouble if your a complete retard. There will not be any negative side effects inherently attached to owning a gun as long as you, and the people who live with you, know how to properly handle it. It's another layer of defense. Also, if a criminal breaks into my home, and starts stealing my shit, I'm still going to shoot him, running or not. Now, I'm not saying you should blow his head open, but if you have the capacity to hit him in the shoulder, leg, or arm, I full advise someone to do so. That way, he get's thrown in jail, can't rob anymore houses, and you have a cool story to tell.
I know the risks of owning a gun and im no amature to them. I know that just by showing a gun you can scare people away, you can see alot of videos of that over the internet but maybe they call your bluff and that is ofc also a risk that you need to be willing to take. About the grammar im not writing a letter to the president or a nobel speech and you know exactly what im writing.
I've been pepper sprayed before, and it hurts like shit. That doesn't mean they will run away though. Give it like 45 seconds and he probably has the capacity to fire a few shots off, or wave a knife at you. Give him a minute and a half, he's going to be in fighting shape again, albeit it worse for wear. If your going to pepper spray someone, you better start running right afterwards.
Pepper spray is only good if you run as soon and fast as possible. If someone breaks into my house with the intent to steal or do harm they will not leave.
Now you are changing the subject from within the home to outside it. And yes, it is illegal in some countries depending on the circumstances.
i wassnt changing the subject. if someone is trying to brake in to your house theyare most likely to run if they are discoverd. the need for firearms for defence depends on where you live.
And if they don't? What if they have a gun? And do you have proof that they tend to run away when discovered? Which I have already stated. A single sweeping law on a matter such as gun ownership is a foolish thing unless all things in its jurisdition are uniform. As that exists... nowhere, you have to consider the circumstances of the area. That depends on where you live. I know for a fact that several of my associates in the US live in will-not-issue counties, meaning that under no circumstances can they legally own a gun unless they have either law enforcement or military background.
Well you could just stab him while he's blinded works aswell. A fun fact for Canada is only 50 people are licensed to have weapons in public.
1. where i live very few criminals have firearms and those who have firearms are usualy involved in organized crime and are ulikely to brake in to your house. 2. personal experience
