Obviously that means Napoleon is in fact Napoleon. This is groundbreaking news.

The man at Tienanmen Square who stood in front of the tank was actually an OCD sufferer who only felt comfortable standing in front of large objects.

If I understand right, the video and images of the event are real - But the event itself did not happen in Tienanmen square, and may actually been a handful of smaller events. Also, the protestors themselves were, contrary to the popular image painted by the west, mostly communists/socialists, and they were protesting the recent capitalist reforms.

does it matter? really i never heared a western country claim the protesters where capitalists......
If they where protesting the colour blue, i don't care, what matters is that they got gunned down, it is not important who or what they protested against.

The west likes to claim that the evil communists gunned down the peaceful youths who were protesting for democracy (Capitalism ) - It's one of the bigger pieces of anti communist propaganda out there. Like pretty much ever other piece of anti communist propaganda, it turns out it is false.

I do agree that it was a horrible, disgusting event though.

It has nothing to do with capitalism. They wanted actual democracy, and China massacred them for it.

I completely agree, capitalism isn't democratic. What I mean though, is that when the average person says 'Democracy' they actually mean capitalism. The words get interchanged a lot, in western societies.

nonesense, the average person describes democracy as the ability to vote, either on issues or on leaders, but never ever have i heared somebody average(or above) confuse capitalism with democracy, i might have heared that from uneducated idiots. This sounds like a strawman you just made up. the only place the word gets interchanged is in redneck/far right american tv/radio shows.

I think I've chosen the wrong words here.. A lot of people think that a nation cannot be democratic unless it has a free market, which basically translates as Capitalism = Democracy, Not capitalism = Anti democratic. It's not so much that they replace capitalism with 'Democracy' but rather a nation cannot be democratic unless it is capitalist.

So when they say 'The Tienanmen square protestors were doing it for democracy' they mean 'They were doing it for capitalism', indirectly.

I probably don't know anybody you know in real life, but as a communist, I run into the 'You're a communist, so you hate democracy' type rhetoric every day.

I get most of it from Americans, online. That's not to say every American does/believes that, but that is a pretty common argument/insult from the average far-right republican.
