I don't know why but the island is not showing. When I get into the game, the game just shows a whites screen. I can do all of the normal thing like build but I can't see my island. I don't know what to do. does that mean my computer can't process the graphics because they can process the graphic perfectly fine on the main menu.

Play around with the settings. Lower them. Update directx and your graphics card drivers.
Also, just a heads up that this is supposed to go to the Tech Help section.

Try lowering your graphics to the lowest setting. If it works then, slightly raise them and if it works then, slightly raise them again, etc. until you find what is your limit.

Try "Can You RUN It?", it's quite a good site to find out if your pc can run a certain game. It's not right all the time, some games that the site said wouldn't work would run fine.

But, seeing as this is a graphics problem, upgrading your graphics card or updating the drivers should work, although you might want to reinstall first, just in case.

It's a laptop so upgrading it will be a hassle, especially for someone who doesn't know anything about computers.

Ah, yes, replacing the graphics card in a laptop can be quite the hassle. If it's the problem, you can probable ask someone at an it shop, they should be able to help you out.
