I figured I have nothing to lose because if she says no I will be the same as before I asked and if she says yes then yay for me. No matter how you look at it, you are always gonna have a 50/50 chance.

Tell her you want your genitals and her genitals to do a high five.
It's not weighted evenly, at think point in time I would give you a 92-2 chance.

You have about a 1 in a million chance of getting a yes when you ask out someone who you hardly ever talk to via FaceBook. It's not 50/50 at all and you do have something to lose. You could lose a chance to be with her.

Yes or no =50/50 no matter how you look at it.

    This is what I sent...

Let me not to the marriage of true minds Admit impediments. Love is not love Which alters when it alteration finds, Or bends with the remover to remove: O no! it is an ever-fixed mark That looks on tempests and is never shaken; It is the star to every wand'ring bark, Whose worth's unknown, although his height be taken. Love's not Time's fool, though rosy lips and cheeks Within his bending sickle's compass come; Love alters not with his brief hours and weeks, But bears it out even to the edge of doom: If this be error and upon me proved, I never writ, nor no man ever loved.

    -William Shakespeare

I know I should be asking this in person, but since I never can get the chance during the day, I figured I'd do it now. I was wondering if you wanted to go see a movie sometime this weekend. Thanks for at least reading this.

I would have gone with the first stanza from Endymion by Keats (http://www.poetryfoundation.org/poem/173734), "A Thing of Beauty" by Lord Byron (http://www.poetryfoundation.org/poem/173100), or if you wanted Shakespeare his 18th sonnet is quite romantic. (http://www.poetryfoundation.org/poem/174354).

But anyway, is she the type of person to even attempt to understand Shakespeare, or the person who thinks, "Ugh, words hurt my brain"?

Still not sure she'll understand all of it, but that one was fairly simple. Did you say how old she was? I know Shakespeare did not literally mean marriage in the extract, but that would be very easy to misconstrue which would make you look like a massive creep. I think that poem was a little heavy on the love, and might have been better suited for when you were a little further along. The Byron poem coexistence suggested probably would have been better.
Best of luck anyway, though I agree with the consensus here that your chances are slim.
I'll give some first date tips if you need them, once you get a reply saying yes.
