    Well most american schools are kinda like that. In my school I had one year of world history in freshmen year(it was pretty basic and we didn't go into to much detail). My spohmore and junior year have just been US history, and it is pretty much the same class I took in gradeschool 5 times.

    I got to modern politics, then my teacher ended the class with, a very interesting lecture about developing our own political opinion, and that it never has to be Democrat or Republican.
