It's a phrase, and you know what it means, so stop that.
And allow me to clarify. I disagree with what you said about "copycat parties", particularly when you said that the libertarian party is copying the republican party. That just isn't the case. The Libertarian party is liberal on all issues, whereas the republican party (usually) is only liberal in regards to economic matters, and the Democratic party is liberal only on social matters(usually). The republican party is also very nationalistic, which goes against the very principles of libertarianism.

    Just thought I'd clarify.

Isn't there some people within the Republican Party that hold Libertarian ideals (perhaps a certain congressman who's first name starts with the letter "R" and last name ends with the letter "L")? However, do you think there are parties that hold similar values to more mainstream parties and that is why they are cut out? For example, unless you are a hardcore on the protection of the environment, you may vote for the Green Party, but that about people who do wish to protect it, but are not as hardcore? Well the Democrats support the environment so vote for them

    On second note stop what?

Yes, indeed Ron Paul used to affiliate with the Libertarian Party.
Yes, what are you getting at?
And so you do support the 2-party system then!

In conclusion I can't remember what we are talking about anymore, nor do I care to back-track.

I don't support, but I care about the candidates not the parties.

The dumbest things about US politics are how people like Rick Santorum can get a significant following, how far to the right the Republicans are and how some people think that Obama is a socialist (Obama would fit in well with any European conservative party). Over here Rick Santorum would be laughed off the stage.

Really? Really? Let's look across the channel into France. If you look around a little bit you would see this party called the National Front. They have been compared to fascist regimes and rightfully so. Their former president Jeam-Marie La Pen has called the Nazi occupation of France "not that bad, even if there were a few blunders" and referred to the gas chambers as "a point in the war". His daughter: Marine Le Pan, has taken over the party and is currently polling in 3rd place at about 20% of the vote. Europe is about as dumb as America is but at least we don't have any Fascist parties gaining traction.

It's about 2/3 accurate, misses a bunch of groups, and doesn't exactly explain their limitations and purpose... I'm going to try to upload my thing in google docs and link it somewhere but If anyone wants it I can still easily email it

The republicans aren't all that far to the right. Recently they've taken to nationalism and have been embracing protectionism and even corporatism over free-trade capitalism. They are dangerously authoritarian however.

Study does show that conservatives have lower IQ, because they do not understand complex world so they lean to ideologies that praise clear social structure and is against change.

Now that is a bit over the top. I will admit we get some crazies now and then, but that is a bit to far.

Yeah I know the study. It states its claims yet that doesn't quite convince me. I have seen studies say the same things about Liberals. The main point is both parties have there faults, but there isn't really an ideology that is superior, there are only politicians that are superior.

There are superior ideologies in their own respects, depending on what you want.

People have ideologies that they consider to be better. In the end it depends how those who represent their party follow their party's beliefs. It doesn't mater what a ideology is about if there supporters and representatives go with there own customized beliefs in the name of said ideology.
