Yeah, you see I study a lot of history and I do look a lot at these old monarchies and I do wonder if any of them could possibly come back and not just like a figurehead as the UK's is. I think that it would be nice to see more parliamentary monarchies out there. However, I thought the Bolsheviks killed the entire Royal Family of Russia during the revolution so how can a Czar come back when there is no one with roots to the Romanov Dynasty.

You don't understand, I'm trying to tempt you into going back on topic and present evidence, a source, to your claim that the CPRF is on the rise and that in "some regions" they hold a 70-80% approval rating, or that Communism is so popular in Russia that The Church declared Stalin a saint. So yes, let's get back to the topic.

They killed the Tsar's immediate family, but there are actually still pretenders to the throne.

Funny thing, the current heir to the Tzarist throne is the mayor of a town in Florida. So technically, the Romanov dynasty does still exist. That being said, I doubt it will come back into existence. Communism aside and all, I do sort of like the idea of the family-line still existing, if only from uh.. Historical point of view.

Edit: Here are some videos 'n stuff.

Maria Vladimirovna, the head of the house of Romanov, lives in Spain and France.

Yar, I was thinking of some princess marie.
I don't remember what the mayor-prince guy's name is, but I assume he is the son/grandson of one of them. Doesn't help that all those royal families are so tied up within each other.

So is there any actual evidence for Ler's ridiculous claims? I seriously doubt that the Russian Orthodox Church, one of the most persecuted organizations under Stalin's terrible regime, would declare him a saint, or that the reds enjoy over 50% approval in any part of Russia.

Some Communist leaders are pushing for this. It hasn't gotten much acceptance from the church but if the Communists come to power they might start pushing for this. There are already some portraits of Stalin with a halo around his head that have apparently sold quite well in St. Petersberg.
Ler is actually right about this one. The Soviet's approval rating is also dropping rapidly so I would put too much weight on it. Putin is also more popular with a 69% approval rating.

Presumably because Kalalification isn't stuck in 1917.
My opinion is that Putin will win, and that anyone who disagrees will be fed to his many bears. Those who protest will no doubt get lots of western news coverage, because for some reason, we don't seem to like Putin, or rather, anyone who's less useless than Yeltsin.

Actually, I wasn't refering to that statistic. I was refer to actual approval ratings of the communist party. But yar, that is true, none the less. People have had time to experience capitalism, and they have discovered what a fucked up, Moral-less, illogical and inefficient economic system it is. Of course such isn't at all evident by some of it's supporters on the forums.

I think the word you're looking for is 'immoral'.
Actually, that makes me sound like a stuck-up douchebag. Oh well, what doesn't?

According to your definitions of capitalism and socialism, Kali and Mayor are socialists. So, do you actually believe they are, or were you just shitting out your mouth there?
