Was the baader meinhof group just terrorists or did they stand for good and was the methods justified. I do not think they where but do any of you.

They were dangerous, scheming and disgusting reds. Not to mention that they made little to no impact apart from killing people. Prime example of brainwashed dirty commies.

I hate them but the is no doubt abut it that they where fighting for a cause and the cause was a good cause, but they played it out in a horrible way by killing innocent people, even workers but on the other hand how else are they to get the point across. Surly for right or for wrong violence gives publicist, publicist they needed and wanted.

A "good cause"? They were no good reds. Maybe they could have gotten their point across by, you know, peaceful demonstrations, which were actually allowed in free West Germany. I can understand if they started conducting terror attacks to gain publicity in a totalitarian country, like the Soviet Union itself, but the press was free in West Germany and no amount of censorship could have changed that. As I said, brainwashed commies who knew nothing but violence.

They new that protesting peacefully (what they did do to begin with) got you no where. They wanted the bourgeoisie to see the injustice they where creating around the world and they would not see that if they had protested peaceful. In some cases violence is right.

The ends don't justify the means if there is no possibility of the ends being reached. It's a basic principle for the justification of force that you must be able to reasonably affect change with your actions.

Not to mention that, as Toast has already said, a bunch of dirty, brainwashed Reds killing for any sake is just stupid and wrong.

No they didn't. I doubt they even attempted to protest. They can complain about "injustice" when they stop killing innocent civilians. In some cases violence is right, but you can't justify killing innocent civilians especially when you are indoctrinated by ideology. At this point in time, West Germany's economy was booming, there were plenty of jobs with decent wages. These lazy parasites did not capitalize on the success of the economy and as such they blamed the government and then went on to kill innocents. Barbaric scum.

They where not protesting against the economy they where protesting (if that's the right word to use) about Vietnam and west Germany being a place for Americana to store the nuclear weapons. There cause was to fight the injustice what the was allot of in the world at that time and how Germany and Britain and other such places where standing by when America raped Vietnam and the middle east.
