    Funny because the South had Officers that were roughly a Quadrillion times better. And that's obviously what made a huge difference in the war.

    Great Britain was gonna get involved but then Abraham Lincoln brilliantly turned the war into a war about slavery by signing the Emancipation Proclamation, and he knew that Britain (which outlawed slavery) would be hesitant to join a side that was fighting to preserve slavery. Also, it is believed that if Lee had won at Gettysburg, the British would have joined, but by getting his ass handed to him, that ended almost all chance of Britain getting involved.

    Some people also believed that the Russians were gonna declare war on Britain if they declared war on America but I am pretty sure that was not gonna happen.
