    According to Wikipedia, that means (in Dutch): "De teering is geworpen". I can't remember there being a massive plague in the Roman Empire?

    Isn't that quite a lot? Here I am, trying to apply my tiny Dutch measurements to the massive country that is the US...

    Not really sence the US is 3,537,441 square miles (including water) which comes out to be 9,161,930 (rounded numder) Square Kilometers.

    Michigan and Ohio fought a war. Ohio won Tactically because of Andrew Freaking Jackson, but Michigan one Strategically because of the Upper peninsula being gained. more rescources, and it became the largest state east of the mississippi.
