He didn't save all of it, but he helped a lot of people. Its one of the good things the Bush Administration did. Now I support the US's wars, but I am against starting another one. We can't rush into Africa with our economy like it is. Even if that problem was solved a takeover of Africa is impossible! Its going to be to big, to hostile, and most importantly the weather is too brutal.

It's not a waste you get rid of a warlord that is killing thousands of people including children. It is also a wise move to invest in Africa in the future it might mean another market. The way to move Africa forward is to educate them, education is they key to everything. Anyways a it would a very small force probably less than 1000 troops if you were to send troops.

Then those 1,000 troops would get stuck in quagmire and soon take casualties and be wasting our time there. In this economy and government where we spend more than we make. Investing in Africa is a death wish and like I said a waste of money and time. Kony is not the only warlord down there and kids have died since the dawn of time, killing Kony makes no difference. All we would achieve is the death of one man and then what? Do we just keep killing someone who takes his place in an endless and pointless war like Vietnam? No sir. Spending all assets possible on an entire continent would be a death wish.

    1. The only thing a small force would accomplish is pissing off the natives. Actually stabilizing the psychotic culsterfuck of tribal warfare we call Central Africa would require a heavy man power investment.

    2. Kony ain't shit in the bigger picture.

I'm sure if the UN waved their hands and said everyone had a right to food, it would just instantly end starvation. Oh wait, no it wouldn't because the UN is worthless.

It's true that the UN needs to be more powerful, but it doesn't help when the world's richest country and the most powerful superpower rejects the right to food. Doesn't that embarrass you?

I hardly needed that to know the fact, but thank you.

Kony 2012 [in a nutshell] calls for the citizens of the world to put pressure on the US Congress to agree to maintain the some 100 military advisors currently in operations related to stopping Kony. Since it is pretty obvious that the current forces in Africa that are friendly to the cause to taking down Kony and other warlords, there are only a few options, all of which call for increased involvement:
    1) Greater and increased training for the current forces by foreign militaries.
    2) Better weapons and technology for those fighting Kony.
    3) Actual intervention by foreign forces.

The problem is one that will not be solved by anything else than force.
Kony will not back down and turn himself in and neither [by the testimony of the film itself] will he stop. The film is amazing propoganda but is also a coward's film to me. It doesn't admit what it is asking for directly. That is because the film producers were well aware that the public would not support a military manuver. They knew that they were really asking people to commit themselves to a long and costly war.

I'm pretty sure we cemented that Kony is a evil son of a butch, but I don't think arming a nation with gear and money to kill more people on this wild goose Chase is Good idea.
