    The crimes are still being committed by individuals, which can be traced down if they leave any kind of trace. The US has more than enough capacity to take them down. Heck, they have the capacity to shut down large parts of the internet if they wanted to, which might just happen if idiots like Anonymous take themselves too seriously.

    That is the thing that worries me. If anonymous does try to organize attacks against the US government I'm worried about the backlash of possible internet censorship.

    So far, I also have yet to see a full on search for them. A proclamation like this might draw the US government in spending a lot of time, effort and money into hunting them down. However, Chelsea did describe a big worry quite well. Anonymous have gotten cocky, and think they can now get away with anything. The US can shut down the internet if they wanted to, or increase censorship immensely.

    However, if the US (and Israel) indeed were the ones behind Stuxnet (which is highly likely), it definitely shows they both have massive IT capabilities. If the US reacts to Anon attacks with something like Stuxnet (I'm being purely hypothetical here, of course), who is going to stop it?
