Not sure if this is stupid crazy or fake.

Either way it'll encourage individual thinking against the government so I'm cool with the video none the less. It'll make good news.

Your'e assuming two things here... That a bunch of fisrt time hacktivists have more know how then people paid by the government to work in national security. These are people who had to compete for their jobs, have actual job experience and by nature of their competition far brighter then a bunch of teenagers and kids in their mid 20s with an internet connection. did you ever wonder why anon, which has been to a varying degree politically active for the past decade, hasn't been able to do anything other then a ddos attack against the us? The simple answer is they probably can't. The "safeguards" you talk about, most likely don't exist, as the reason they're launching this "war" is because the US was able to arrest some of their top members in the past few months.

Despite the crudeness of his language, Toast is essentially right. Anon overestimates their power and appeal. It's a combination of the machismo gleaned from Fight Club and V for Vendetta, but frankly they don't represent the masses, and aren't able to accomplish anything of real value.

Also the fact that they've popularized the incorrect usage of a political visage amongst my generation is really upsetting.

A shadow government by the OWS movement?

What will they do? Fight a secret war with the Judeo-Zionist-Masonic-Capitalist-Corporatist-Fascist-Nazi-Illuminati of the NWO?

From what I understand it's just OWS just getting organized to actually make up solutions.

What about turning Occupy Wall Street into Ocuppy Federal Reserve (OFR)? They are the source of the problem.

These guys are just stupid and annoying now. They are just troubled hipsters who hide behind there computers and cause trouble in the name of spreading "the truth". My favorite part is when they attack those who speak out against them. Yeah! Let's preserve freedom by attacking our critics. Freedom of Speech is overrated. Yeah, forget these guys.

First Israel, then the Vatican, now the US herself. They will not win or do anything in anyway. They are now just attention whores who want to cause trouble.

What is all this supposed to accomplish exactly?
SOPA has been stalled, if not stopped.

It's supposed to bring down/change the current government. What it will actually do is an entirely different story.

It's a conspiracy thought up by the government to justify them increasing internet censorship. Having Anonymous as a collective without a central base of operations sways the population into joining the cause and causing them to act, so that the suspicion is being drawn away from the corrupt government and their despicable plan. They thought no one would figure out, but I'm on to them.
If you guys don't hear anything from me tomorrow, the FBI and CIA got me. Spread the word, quickly, now we still can stop this menace.

Anonymous is supposed to be a collective consciousness of sorts, with the intention of doing things that invoke hilarity.

Unfortunately, nowadays, Anonymous isn't really what Anonymous is supposed to be. Anonymous is now a bunch of libruls who wear V for Vendetta masks and fedoras, looking to pressure the government. Mainly by conducting ridiculous demonstrations in which they stand around with banners with fads written on them. They don't have one set goal because "Anonymous" is largely fragmented and not what it was a few years ago, when they were harassing FOX news and spamming online games, the glory days.

Oh please, not another one of these. They make things very overly dramatic and unnecessary, once they're onto something, they just don't stop, and it is intolerable. Hell, I'm all for getting rid of SOPA, PIPA, and the bills of many other countries, including my own, that has similar properties as these two. But, this is just too damn far, if you are willing to cause physical harm and pain to any person, you are an evil, son of a bitch, and I will not have any of it.

These guys are going to ruin my birthday this year. I hope to God, that this 'Operation V' doesn't become 'Operation V +8'.

You would imagine that these people would join some reform movement if they cared so much. But then you would remember these guys don't know anything about politics except for V for Vendetta. People just expect progress to happen overnight.

Anonymous is really an empty title at this point, you have to specify something about it to have a consistent picture of who you're talking about. Let's just address them by the name of that particular operation instead.
