I didn't see anything like this, so I thought I'd bring it up. I don't mean belief in a deity, I mean belief itself. Do you reject belief on any topic so as to remain fair in an intellectual sense? Is that even possible? Is it always a bad thing to be irrational?
What do you mean, exactly? Rejecting beliefs certainly is possible, but I assume you were talking about something else. Bad? Probably not. However, if someone chooses to forego basic facts or decency because it conflicts with his/her belief, that is going too far.
Seeing as your random vague wording of 'belief' would suggest the belief in something irrational then I'd say it's more then likely a religious issue... I refuse to use my imagination to fill in the blanks for what I don't know in the universe, so yes 'belief' is stupid.
