My problem with America.

I think Brazil beats us, but if they do, we'll like the 2nd. I asked because I hear ( or read,rather) the term Third World a lot, is not that I'm offended or anything.

Indeed, I see the rise in popularity of liberalism all around me in the modern day. True liberalism that is, not democratic party liberalism. Hippies value personal freedom.

I'd say the top four are definitely Argentina, Uraguay, Chile, and Brazil, in no particular order.

To be fair, it's all liberalism. Confusion arises when you taken into consideration just how broad the concept of liberalism is. It's incredibly easy to mistake a hippy from an anarchist or socialist when they champion a more social liberal position like opposition to usury or promotion of animal rights. That being said, all hippies are generally economically right too some degree.

See, my definition of liberalism is the bottom right quarter of the political spectrum test and chart everybody is always using. Not the bottom left.

While I wouldn't say that bottom right is exclusivity liberal (Especially when you take into consideration neoliberalism, which finds social issues to be irrelevant.), I would agree that anything to the left is definitively not liberal.

I was referring to social liberals. I'm not sure who makes up the majority, but they definitely coined the term first. For people who like free-market capitalism so much, libertarians sure do steal a lot. They stole the term libertarian from socialists, they steal the term 'Liberal' from the liberals, and even worse, they have recently stolen the internationale. Plus every Libertarian I've known has been a pirate.
