Joseph Kony 2012 - Stop at Nothing.

I said from the start that guy was an absolute wanker, even before I saw his horrible high school musical/Glee style videos his 'charity' is responsible for on Charlie Brooker's segment on 10'o'clock Live yesterday.

It's what little a user can do, my moderating oligarchic overlord.

Hopefully this recent public chugging incident completely silences KONY2012 supporters.

I think the guy just managed to destroy his multimillion dollar scam in one night.

"Stop at nothing"? Really? Because from what I've seen on the internet, "Stopping at nothing" means liking a stupid video, spamming Kony 2012 in every single video you can find which is annoying and is distracting me from actual comments and being a pain in the ass for the sole reason of "Hey, we're saving children!" when in reality, they're doing nothing.

But still, let's say you guys really did stop at nothing. Most people are crying out for Kony's death, so, if the Kony 2012 people had their way, we would have another Iraq, another Afghanistan. Didn't we criticize the government for doing this kind of crap? Now we're supporting it? If this happens, it will be the first war caused by stupid people on the internet!

Well, the main reason I'm bitching about this is that people are "Sharing the information on social media". ITS REALLY ANNOYING. especially if your reading comments on, i dunno, a lets play, and then suddenly "KONY 2012!!!!!" I mean, I can understand making forum threads about it, but spamming them on random videos is annoying as hell.

Seriously, the "Word" LOL is annoying. i can understand using it in texts, where typing sucks, but on a computer, with a complete keyboard? Annoying. And you forgot the punctuation on that sentence as well. (Sorry, my inner grammar Nazi got the better of me.)

By the way, sorry if i just repeated what other people said, i didn't read the other posts.

Lamp Revolt (as well as just about everyone else) had withdrawn his support quite a few pages back.

This isn't just about Lamp, this is about any Kony 2012 person who sees that post. Also, its about venting my annoyance.

I understand, I just wanted to say that so you know there really aren't any KONY 2012 supporters on the forums.

I love that this post is still there, even though it breaks Coffee House rules! It seems like everyone gets a get out of jail free card, so I'll keep mine handy.

Why should we concern ourselves on a situation that has zero impact on our country? We have people homeless and in poverty within our own countries yet we choose to focus on some low level warlord in Uganda? I also have tio laugh at the idea that this will change anything. Millions of people will sign on to youtube press the like button and feel they did their good deed for the day. After that they will move on and forget who this guy really is.
