    That reminds me:
The current argument made for putting up women leaders holds that they will govern vastly different than their male counterparts. I require evidence of that.

There are more men in politics than women, so of course it's more likely that the current major female politicians in America will either be mostly good or bad.

Yes I know. I don't follow many female politicians, but the ones that first come to mind are Michelle Bachmann, Sarah Palin, and Hillary Clinton. I know those ladies don't represent all female politicians, but that is what I am exposed to so naturally I am apprehensive to say the least.

You should check out some of our female politicians. The province next to mine (Alberta) is gearing up for their next election and the leader of the second place party just unveiled their new campaign bus.

Well I don't see a problem with having more women in a position of power, I mena if we were to be representative then we would have around 55% women politicians. Also most counties do not set a good example for aspiring women politicians, I mean here all we have is Anne Widicombe, *Shudders, and then Margaret Thatcher, *feels Northerness and goes on strike.

Lord do I know it. I think my brain cells commit suicide when they listen to the female politicians that get all the air time(Palin & Bachmann mainly). The only others that come to mind are Hillary, Nikki Haley, and Jan Brewer. I will be looking into others because I can't stand those.

Haha and yes those tires certainly look fantastic.

My JROTC unit is run by 2 females and one male. Begining year i say we were average NOW
we went with distinguished unit WITH MERIT {only 20 units have wth merit} to rag-tag itiots
that treat the unit as a social club or something.

So do you have a 1:1 ratio of male to women representatives or is this just another one of your national pride posts?

It's matter of equality of opportunity, not the results.

Just about every modern democracy has the same equality of opportunity so by that logic it would be impossible to say any one is more equal than any other unless you looked at the results

See that would have been a good bit of data to include in your OP.... I could question the methodologies all day but it's a lot stronger then "Finland is politically most equal country in the world"
