Seeing as I apparently am the new grammar nazi, I find this post and the one it quoted somewhat ironic.
Fixed it for you, now there is no irony. Also it's embarrassing when a Dutch person has better English than you.
It still shows up in my quote, though. So ha. And I'm too lazy to fix it. So ha. And stuff. Yeah, I fully blame my grammarnaziism on Sly, he made me do it.
Yeah, I know...I really hate that excuse. The only problem with English in school was that for about half the time I had a teacher who used US spelling and pronunciation, and the other half I had a teacher who used the British spelling and pronunciation. Still, it's a matter of consistency. I tend to use British spelling myself, although I tend to get the pronunciations mixed up at times.
Hey the fact you can even speak two languages at all amazes me the only other language I know is Spanish and my Spanish is so broken nobody can tell it's Spanish.
Well, English is a basic language to learn, especially in the Netherlands. I had both French and German in school, but I chose Latin over these. Spanish and ancient Greek were also options in my school. I did take Greek for a year, but I dropped it. I might pick up French and/or German again at some point. Japanese and Icelandic are other languages that'd be interesting to learn.
You won't bow before America and do what ever we tell you no matter how stupid it is? You terrorist scum.
You know that good times are ahead when the Dutch make more Monty Python references than the Americans.
